Potato Casserole Recipe:

Ingredients:

6-8 medium-sized potatoes
1 onion
2 eggs
1 cup of milk
150 g of hard cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Greens (coriander, parsley) for decoration

Instructions:

Peel and slice the potatoes into thin slices. You can use a mandolin for more even slicing.

Chop the onion finely.

In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs and add the milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Put a layer of potatoes in a baking dish, then a layer of onions. Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients.

Pour the contents of the mold with beaten egg and milk.

Place the mold in a preheated 180 degree oven and cook for about 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft and the top turns golden.

After that, sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven for a few minutes, until the cheese melts and browns.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
